Will my photo be accepted?
The size, head height and background follow the official rules for the document you pick. Acceptance still depends on the photo itself: sharp focus, even light, neutral expression, no glasses glare. Always check the current rules before you apply.
Where do I print the sheet?
Order a standard 4×6 in (10×15 cm) photo print at a drugstore, supermarket kiosk or online print service, then cut along the grey lines. It usually costs well under a dollar.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Face detection and background removal run in your browser; the photo never leaves your device.
Can I take the photo with my phone?
Yes. Stand about 1–1.5 m from a wall, face a window for even light, and have someone take the photo at eye level. Avoid the front camera up close, which distorts the face.
