    Why is my PDF so big?

    Almost always because of images: scans, photos or screenshots stored at full camera resolution. Text itself takes very little space.

    Will the text get blurry?

    No. Only embedded images are recompressed. Text, fonts, links and vector drawings are kept exactly as they are.

    Are my documents uploaded?

    No. The PDF is opened and rewritten inside your browser, which makes this safe for contracts, IDs and bank statements.

    Why did my PDF barely shrink?

    It contains little or no images (for example a text document exported from Word), so there is nothing heavy to compress.
