Blur faces in photos

FAQ

Can a pixelated face be restored?

Strong pixelation or a black bar cannot be reversed, because the detail is gone. Light blur is weaker protection; keep the strength high for real anonymity.

It missed a face. What now?

Drag a box over it. Side profiles, very small or partly hidden faces are harder to detect automatically.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Detection and blurring happen in your browser; the photo never leaves your device, so it is safe even for photos of children.
